Breakfast seems to be a favorite in our household, but sometimes (or a lot of times) we are in a rush, so making eggs, pancakes and the whole shebang is not an option. Oatmeal is quick and easy…under 5 minutes. Bring half a cup of organic rolled oats to a boil (sometimes I add some milk as well) and let it simmer for a few minutes. The time it takes to cook varies depending on the brand of oats you buy. Top off with small bites of your favorite fruit. We usually do strawberries, blackberries, blueberries or bananas. Top it all off with a sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy with your little one. Mommy tested, Layla approved.
